- Finger picking acoustical guitarist Glenn Roth played Friday 9-10-11. Very talented guy.. Check out his website here.. His video blog for the evening can be seen here.
- Monday and Wednesday 9-12-11 and 9-14-11 we hosted the Colby College's Art Class. Thank you Rebel for bringing everyone out!
- There was a free luncheon at Smoffee's on October 21st. There will be a speaker talking about emergency preparedness for businesses. There is limit space so RSVP by the 15th.
- Open Mic Night at Smoffee's 7pm on October 7, come with your comedy, street performers, theatrics, music or poetry. Free admission.
- 100 Loaves of bread in seven days from October 4th to October 11th. 10% goes towards charity.

Smoffee's is a bakery, bistro and coffee shop all in one unique restaurant.
Breakfast:
We feel like we are one of the best restaurants in Colby, Kansas for breakfast. We start our mornings here with fresh coffees, a variety of baked items including mega-muffins, cinnamon rolls to serving traditional breakfast items like waffles, eggs and toast made with homemade bread.
Lunch:
For lunch, our restaurant offers our tasty tender burgers, stuffed sandwich pockets and salads with occasional daily specials that feature a variety of cuisines that include Italian, Chinese, American, German, and Mexican.

Some our highlights of our daily specials include our chicken
enchilada, chicken stir fry and apricot chicken. Every day we feature at least one of our homemade soups.
Our customers have enjoyed among other favorites: our cheesy broccoli, chicken noodle, creamy chicken & rice, three different recipes of potato soup and our favored spicy enchilada soup.
Specialty Drinks:
Smoffee’s is probably known most for our specialty coffee and smoothie drinks. We can make your favorite espresso style drink (hot or cold) and frappe’s with your choice of flavoring. Our smoothies are incredibly tasty. We feature fresh fruit smoothies, instead of the fast food style mix-ins. Some of our other drink favorites include juice slushies, flavored ice tea and flavored soda.
Desserts:
We also randomly make incredibly tasty desserts that include brownies, pies, cakes and cookies.
Catering:
We can cater your business or social gathering. Contact us in advance to insure proper staffing.
Social Events:
We have regular Smoffee’s sponsored events including live music, live remote broadcasts, theatre, poetry reading, political meet and greets and game nights. If you have an idea for an event please contact us. In the future we would like to host business seminars, classes, conferences, children’s shows, lectures, movie nights and other family oriented events. We try to make all of our happenings safe family friendly entertainment suitable for anyone. Our goal is to provide some the best entertainment in Western Kansas, while providing something for all age groups, and a variety of interests.
Our Community:
Our restaurant serves people from all over the country. Daily we see travelers that are looking for more of a non-chain, non-fast food unique or home style restaurant. Our local traffic comes mainly from the Thomas County area, serving towns in Northwest Kansas like Colby, Levant, Brewster, Rexford, Gem, Menlo, and Oakley. We also get some broader area traffic from places like Hays, Kanorado, Goodland, St. Francis, Sharon Springs, Hill City, Seldon, Norton, McCook, Atwood, Grinnell, Oberlin and Burlington Colorado. We see a fair amount of customers who make the trek from Denver to Kansas City and visa-versa.
These days community is so much broader than it ever used to be. We enjoy making friends from everywhere and welcoming them to our local community in Downtown Colby, Kansas. |
